Kailee grew up in Park Ridge, where her passion for dance began at the age of 4. She started with jazz, ballet, and tap, and later expanded her training to include lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary styles. In addition, Kailee grew her love for performing through musical theatre. During her time at Maine South High School, she discovered kick and pom styles, which further fueled her love for dance. After graduating, she attended the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor's in Education while also working as a UDA Instructor for Varsity and dancing with the Mizzou Club Dance Team. In her years teaching at the studio, she has worked with recital classes, training courses, and has coached the Mini and Youth All-Star teams. Additionally, she has earned a certification through Acrobatic Arts, which allows her to teach acro to dancers at the studio.
