Lailani Cifuentes, born and raised in Morton Grove, IL, has been a dedicated member of the Studio 22 High Tek family for nearly three years, working as both a recital pom instructor and front desk receptionist. Her dance journey began at the age of 9 right here at the studio, where she started in recital and eventually trained at the Allstar level and made history as part of the first-ever team to win a Summit Championship in 2016 in the Junior Small Lyrical category. Her passion for dance continued through high school at Niles West, where she was a four-year varsity member of the dance team, served as a two-year captain, and was the senior-year soloist of the team’s IHSA State-qualifying routine in 2020. She also participated in the school’s Orchesis dance company, gaining experience in a variety of styles and choreography.

Beyond her dance accomplishments, Lailani is a licensed esthetician with a growing passion for the beauty and wellness industry. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with the goal of becoming a Registered Nurse, aspiring to specialize in plastic surgery where she can combine her love for aesthetics with patient care.
