Ballet Instructor
SARA BIBIK was a founding member and principal dancer with River North Dance Chicago. After retiring from the stage after 10 years, she was named Workshop Director and Artistic Administrator seamlessly transitioning one passion to another. Dedicated to training and mentoring future generations of dancers, Sara has served as guest faculty for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Western Kentucky University, and the Virginia School of the Arts where she was honored to have been a commencement speaker.
Sara is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. And continues to train with ABT NTC through master classes and seminars. She teaches and choreographs full-time in the Chicagoland area. Sara is also the Dance360 Program Director at DanceWorks Chicago, producing workshops for aspiring professional dancers. She created Skin Tones: Classical Ballet Positions | Fine Art Portrait Guide a project that provides educational fine art prints featuring dancers of all skin tones. Sara also produced JOY: Ballet Coloring Pages, celebrating diversity in ballet images which is featured on SaraBibikDance.com, her platform to distribute educational and joy-filled activities for dancers and their support teams.
