Tami Whatcott
Company 22 Rehearsal Director, Choreographer, Instructor
Tami Whatcott is a dedicated dancer, choreographer, educator, and adjudicator with a passion for sharing the art of movement across cultures and communities. She holds a BFA in Modern Dance and a BS in Dance Education from Utah Valley University, where she began cultivating her love for performance and teaching.
Over the years, Tami has had the opportunity to perform with companies such as Joel Hall Dancers & Company, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Diavolo, and Noumenon Dance Ensemble, and has been fortunate to study and work with influential choreographers both in the U.S. and abroad. Her choreographic work has supported teams in earning state, national, and international recognition — achievements she credits to the collaboration and commitment of the dancers she’s been privileged to work with.
Tami has served as a judge for numerous competitions, including UDA College Nationals, Dance Worlds, and the ICU World Championships, and brings over 15 years of experience to the adjudication field. She is currently part of the teaching staff for the International Cheer Union, where she works with dance federations around the world to support education and development for the next generation of dancers.
