Progressing Ballet Technique
Studio 22 is proud to offer a new class that focuses on growing a student's understanding of proper muscle engagement through a unique curriculum of exercises using fitness equipment. This technique creates an incredible mind-body connection so that students can truly feel and understand what is being asked of them in their ballet and technique classes. This class is the definition of refining and understanding your technique.
Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program developed for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in dance. PBT exercises were developed with care and guidance by professional ballet masters along with a team of physiotherapists. Training in PBT not only builds students understanding of correct muscle engagement, but its focus on safely training core stability, weight placement, and alignment can help prevent injuries. PBT classes are taught by certified and licensed instructors.
This class is perfect for any student ready to take their dance technique to a new level. Whether you typically struggle with understanding how to engage the correct muscle groups, or if you have a good connection with muscle isolation and wish to gain a deeper strength for your technique, PBT will be the answer to your needs as a dancer.
We believe in our dancers getting every benefit they can of this incredible new class. Therefore, this class is only available to register by session and classes will be maxed out at 10 dancers per class.
Dancers may register for more than one PBT class a week if desired.
PRICING & REGISTRATION
$350 for Fall Session (August 15th - November 21st, 2019)
Students must purchase some mandatory equipment for class.
Students will receive the equipment list upon registration.
